Privacy

Moonspell lets you make games by chatting with Nova, an AI host. This page says what we keep, why, and who else handles it. We don't sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps and websites.

What we keep

  • Your account. The app creates an anonymous account the first time you open it. If you sign in with Apple, we also keep the identifier Apple gives us and, if you share them, your name and email.
  • Your chats. What you write to Nova, the images you attach, and her replies, so the conversation continues where you left it.
  • Your games. The requests you made, the source code of each game, and every playable version, so you can play, change and share them.

Who handles it

  • Anthropic's Claude models write Nova's replies and build your games; your messages and requests are sent to them for that.
  • Vercel hosts the service, the database runs on Neon, and game versions are stored in Vercel Blob.
  • Games are built in temporary Daytona sandboxes, deleted when each build ends.
  • Each game's source code is kept in a private GitHub repository.
  • Online game features (live leaderboards, “playing now” counts, multiplayer rooms) run on Cloudflare. Your scores and the name you play under are visible to the other players of that game.

Shared games

Every version of a game has a link. Anyone who has the link can play that version and see its title and what changed in it. Links are long and random, but share them only with people you want to play.

Deleting your data

Contact us through the Support page and we'll delete your account, chats and games.

Children

Moonspell is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
